REVIEW: Lanvin Eclat d'Arpege

Let me tell you about my favorite scent, Eclat d'Arpege by Lanvin.
It comes in this clear, hard plastic seamless box that's a puzzle to open and close.

From Fragrantica.com:
Created in 2002, Lanvin revives the musical theme of his legendary Arpege perfume. Eclat d’Arpège is classified as fruity-floral The composition is delicate, fragile and angelic. Eclat d’Arpège’s first accords are green lilac and Sicilian lemon leaves which transports us to the first day of spring. Summer’s near , flowers are in full bloom, the scent is more intense, it’s a wisteria blossom that blooms at perfume’s heart, accentuated by lush peach blossom and sensual red peony. Airy green tea leaves are refreshing. The base’s white cedar of Lebanon, gentle musk and precious amber are like an enveloping caress.

The bottle is very simple but elegant, like an upside-down bulb. The juice is lilac :"> and casts a lilac light.

Of course you couldn't smell it right now, but let me describe it for you. It's very light, very fresh, almost skin-like with fresh laundry, not to floral, not too fruity, and very pleasant, specially for sensitive noses.

It bears just Lanvin's mother and child logo. Simple. No orthographic cues here!

The cap is pewter with a gem on top, mounted just like how jewelers do it on rings and pendants. On the base are two gold rings, signifying the unity of mother and child.

This perfume is a cult favorite because of its heavenly, non-cloying scent. A spritz on the wrist gives me an impression of D&G Light Blue but sweeter, fresher and less intense. It stays on skin and clothes the entire day, but not the kind of smell that would fill up an entire room; this one needs personal approach to smell :) which is why it's perfect!

SCENT:
-No argument here!
PACKAGING:
-Packaging is very simple. I'm biased towards more French, pink, feminine looking bottles.
STAYING POWER:
-Staying power is weird. Sometimes it fades in about an hour. Sometimes, in three. Sometimes I can still smell it after a day!

What about you? What's your favorite scent? :D

REVIEW: Dueba Barbie Girly Chip Soy Latte / G&G Blossom Brown

When my Bambi Almond pair expired prematurely a few days ago, and being eternally blind i just had to get myself a new pair pronto!
Description from Pinkyparadise.com:
Diameter: 14.3mm

Water Content: 38%
Base Curve: 8.6mm
Type: 1 Year Disposal

Vial looks more elegant now... but still a pain to open! I broke a fingernail in the process D:

complicated coffee art pattern going on! it's def brighter and more vivid than my previous lenses, +1!
You really can't see most of the brown part when it's against a light surface.. but once you pop them in your eyes...

WOAHZSSZSZ eye color change +10!! flash set to +3.0 so yeap it doesn't really look as harsh and fake as above under normal light. I was very uncomfortable at first with how it looked! It was... very doll like!

Now forgive my no-makeup just came home from work fez in the following photos taken under indoor lighting:

ain't it darling??? it gives superb color change with a natural pattern and increases iris size too!

COLOR:
-Very vivid, and a real brown! although it's more on the yellow side... but i like how it turned out! At least it's not a dead color.
ENLARGEMENT:
- Good! Made my eyes look bigger and brighter.
DESIGN:
- Swirly limbal ring and striated iris. Less pixelated than most of the others that I've tried :D
COMFORT:
-Got a few headaches from them and sometimes they dry easily :<

REVIEW: Geo Bambi Almond (Princess Mimi)

Description from Honeycolor.com:
BC:  8.6 mm
DIA:  14.5 mm
It of course came in those tiny difficult to open vials with, sorry but, an ugly label.  From the vial you can see that the color is a little dead :< Almond is supposed to be a soft brown with a thick black limbal ring.

When worn, the brown part seems a little off. It looks like gray under flash! The thick black limbal ring also looks fake.

No flash. More natural looking now :>

COLOR:
-Color is very dead :< what i dislike about Geo is that their browns look like gray! The black limbal ring is also very doll-like, may be hard to pull off without makeup.
ENLARGEMENT:
-Good! Probably the best point in buying a pair of these :D if you go for enlargement rather than color.
DESIGN:
- Might look natural under natural light but limbal ring is scary oAo
COMFORT:
- Sorry but these were short lived! Bought them October and they expired April :< Also got headaches from them, specially the first time i wore them! D:

REVIEW: Geo Tricolor Brown

Description from Honeycolor.com:
Usage Modality:  Yearly Disposable
BC:  8.6 mm
DIA:  14.0 mm

This was bought long ago and these are the only photos i've found :<

COLOR:
- Although labeled as brown, the lens has an outer ring that's more like gray. Only the inner ring is brown... and a dead brown that is. I'd like this one to be more vivid, but i'll rate the color change as a five :)
DESIGN:
- Patern is natural, "layered" starburst looking like a real iris, but of course creepy pixels are creepy!
ENLARGEMENT:
- This is only 14.00mm across, not much of a change. :< This lens works best for those seeking color change.
COMFORT:
-This lasted me for less than a year. I can't really quantify comfort, let's just keep this as is :D
